Lance Armstrong Comes to Paso Robles

With the spirit of the wind and the rain pausing for the Amgen Tour of California, Lance Armstrong (yes, Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong) rushes into downtown Paso Robles along with other world cycling professionals on Thursday.

The cyclist will ride through Cholame home to Tule elk and the James Dean Memorial then they will travel on long stretches of rolling picturesque roads in Shandon, through serious horse country and farms in Creston past newly green hills, majestic oak trees and acres and acres of vineyards in Paso Robles as they complete the race into downtown Paso Robles where crowds and cheers will welcome them.

The City of Paso Robles is waiting to welcome all the cyclist and crowds with a festival of food & wine.  Come and be a part of slo County history Thursday February 19.  Visit the Amgen website for Stage 5 in Paso Robles at: http://www.amgentourofcalifornia.com/Route/cities/paso-robles.htm
